Just one chatting animation and one standing animation. Any animations that the folks have might be simple. For example, you don't want to spend hours building a dozen different human figures for your world. You don't want to get bogged down building many of the same things over and over again. But it will be an interactive place to visit. You don't have to build a working "game" necessarily. Certainly it shows off the animations, and so much more. Maybe this is a more interesting way to make video assets. They will see the website, and the videos on YouTube embedded on your site.īut maybe some of the videos will be of you visiting your world? Or screen shots from your world. Not the first work of yours that they will see. Or in your case, perhaps a living world that folks would download, and install and visit. Unity and Carrara work together to allow you to build games. What if the person came across a bridal shop in the quaint little town and went into the shop and the NPC there talked a little about the person who used to work there?įrom my study so far. You could even incorporate things into it from your other jobs. You will be able to incrementally make this better over the years as you have time to work on it. It will be simple as you start, but over time you could add more to it.Īnd unlike what happened with Maya, you will not lose the licenses and suddenly not have access to all your assets. The entire little world could be incremental. You could incorporate jokes and a simple story line. They might actually talk - recorded audio. They might respond if you went up to talk to them. The characters wouldn't be static, just standing around but actually moving with animations. You could walk into the shops and talk to shop keepers. A bakery, a candle shop, an internet cafe. This environment would show assets of many types that folks could travel through.īuildings, a garden. What if you had a little game, or maybe not so much as a game, but an environment, that a person could "visit".
